The Ranch

With 1500 acres and located in Callahan County, just a few miles east of Abilene, Swann Trophy Whitetail Ranch is in an area known for Big Whitetail Bucks. We have easy access to Dallas-Ft. Worth, with only a couple hours drive, yet offer a terrain that is more like South Texas than West Texas. You will find huge, 100 year old bull mesquite flats that are perfect for raising big bucks, and the live oak covered ridges provide acorns that are a big part of the native food source. Down on Deep Creek there are many monster pecan trees, up to seventeen feet in circumference, and a year around water supply that has never gone dry over the last one hundred years. This creek provides very good habitat for both the deer and the turkey. We also have eight stock tanks providing additional water needs. Last, we have incredible whitetail browse on this ranch, which is a key component in raising trophy whitetail bucks. This is a beautiful and wild Texas Ranch, with many trophy bucks, and we love to see hunters having a great time.
